FC Frederick is a non-profit soccer club that seeks to develop soccer athletes in a positive environment that challenges each player at their highest level through fair and open evaluation and team assignment, professional administration and coaching, and high level competition in league and tournament play.

On March 18, 2004 the 3 Premier Soccer Organizations in Frederick County merged to create FC Frederick. The merger of the Frederick Alliance Soccer Academy, Frederick Excel Soccer Club, and Frederick United Soccer Club brings together the top resources in the area to create a full service club aimed at meeting the needs of players from throughout Frederick County and the surrounding areas.

Soccer Community:
  FC Frederick is an independent organization that seeks to enhance the development of soccer players at all levels in and around Frederick County. FC Frederick is committed to maintaining full cooperation with other local and regional soccer associations.
Soccer Club:
  FC Frederick actively coordinates the activities for all its teams, members, and staff. Players are not trying out for a particular team or to play for a particular coach. Players are applying for membership in the club and will receive team assignments based on the clubs evaluation.
Objective and Open Evaluations:
  FC Frederick member players, and those interested in membership for the forthcoming year, will participate in an annual open selection and evaluation process in their respective age group that will result in an invitation to join the club and/or team assignment for the coming year. The club is committed to conducting professional evaluations of all interested candidates and selecting the best players available who are seeking membership.
Committed Membership:
  All FC Frederick member players retain the option to continue to play on recreational level soccer teams and/or other sports teams should they desire. However, an annual commitment to attend every scheduled training session and game is required for membership.
Professional Staff:
  FC Frederick is dedicating to providing its players with the best instruction possible through professional coaching and administration and, therefore, provides its staff coaches and administrators with seasonal stipends commensurate with their experience, qualifications, and commitment to their team assignment.
Administration:
 

FC Frederick is an independent non-profit athletic association affiliated as a club soccer program with the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association. FC Frederick maintains full compliance with the United States Soccer Federation, the United States Youth Soccer Association, and the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association.

The Board of Trustees of FC Frederick maintain decision-making authority over club operations that include coaching appointments, player evaluation and assignment, league placements, public relations, and finances. The club does seek the active assistance of current and past members in carrying out the club's approved functions and activities.
