Registration for the 2024 Marvelous Mercersburg Camp is open! From Camp Director Chuck Hommey: "We are excited to host FC Frederick's 14th overnight camp, our 3rd at Mercersburg Academy, and even more excited about our outstanding staff. On the girls side, Frostburg State Women's Soccer Head Coach Brian Parker will be joining us again, and on the boys side, Joe Benton, current Tuscarora High boys coach, will be with us! It will be an amazing experience!"
Hundreds of FC Frederick players have attended FC Frederick's overnight camp through the years. The camp features club and team building activities, and a soccer curriculum that includes position-specific training for forwards, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers. Who: 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade girls and boys (2024-25 school year).

Training Session Examples: team shape and patterns of play; zonal defending; midfield possession and speed of play; flank play/crossing and heading
Other Activities: 3v3, 5v5, and futsal competitions (with prizes!); swimming pool; tie dye shirts; skit Night with bonfire & smores

Join the FC Frederick Staff at the premier soccer day camp in Western Maryland! The FC Frederick Soccer Day Camp is a HI-ENERGY + FUN camp devoted to the technical development of all skill levels! In this camp you WILL get lots of learning, ball touches, and laughs! Our coaching goal is to help players develop confidence with, and composure on, the ball. Soccer is a game of fundamentals, and all players need to be able to dribble around opponents, shoot with confidence, pass with accuracy, and possess the ball. The player having confidence and composure on the ball will maximize their enjoyment of the game. The camp will feature new and exciting training activities each day, and a variety of contests and tournaments throughout the week! CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO about our day camps!

What to Bring Each Day: soccer ball (with your name on it!), cleats/running shoes, shin guards, & water.
Location: TJ Middle School (1799 Schifferstadt Boulevard, Frederick MD 21701).
Daily schedule:
9:15 - 9:30am: Arrival at camp
9:30 - 10:00am: ball mastery activities
10:00 - 11:00am: technical sessions to enhance skill development
11:00 - 12:00pm: small-sided games, tournaments, and contests
