Scrimmagefest
FC Frederick would like to invite you to its ScrimmageFest series, held in August and March each year in Frederick, MD! We hope you will consider including this unique one-day "friendly" event in your team's pre-season plans. Divisions for Boys and Girls 9U through 15U are offered. 9-10U play 7v7, 11-12U play 9v9, 13-15U play 11v11. Please feel free to contact Dave Shannon with any questions.
Frederick Fours
The Frederick Fours is our 4v4 co-ed league. he Frederick Fours is the only MSYSA-sanctioned league using US Soccer recommended age appropriate team sizes for the 7/8U player. We use the 'Dual Field' format of organizing teams for their game day experience.
Teams of 10-12 players are created and then divided in half to play their opponent who does the same. The 'half teams' play on side-by-side fields (approx. 25 v 35 yards). At halftime, one team switches their 'half teams' so all the players play the 'full' team of their opponent. Games are 4 - 10 minute quarters. No scores or standings are published for this league. Soccer in the Summer League (SiSL)
In July 2020, Soccer in the Summer League (SiSL) emerged as the first league to begin operating in Frederick County post-quarantine. The SiSL season begins in late June and runs through the end of July each summer. The league's 7v7 format (6 Field Players + GK, 2x30 minutes), with each team playing two games per week (8 total), allows for maximum roster flexibility.
Frederick Futsal League (FFL)
Welcome to the Frederick Futsal League—an exciting fusion of skill, speed, and teamwork that brings the thrill of soccer indoors during the colder months. Our league provides a dynamic platform for young players to hone their futsal skills in a fast-paced, controlled environment. With a focus on technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and quick decision-making, our league offers a unique developmental experience. HexaLeague (H League)
Our Hexa-League is our 6-a-side league (5 field players and a goalie). It is the only MSYSA sanctioned league for 10U and younger players following the USYS recommended 6-a-side format deemed the most appropriate for player development. We use a single site for all games and consistent time slots to make family schedules easier to manage. No scores or standings are published for this league.
Outside clubs are welcome to apply for entry to the league. League fees are based on a direct cost/shared expense model. This pricing model ensures that teams/clubs pay no more than the cost for each team to participate. Please contact Dave Shannon to register for this league.
Middle School League (MSL)
FC Frederick's Middle School League (MSL) is a summer 7-a-side league designed to tap into players' interest in school-based sports participation while utilizing, as much as possible, the expertise and dedication of the FC Frederick coaching staff and community.
