The FC Frederick Juniors Program is designed as a transitional piece from the Academy Program to the Seniors Program. Targeted at middle school aged players, the Juniors program attempts to further player's technical development, safeguard the attacking, creative instincts developed in the Academy Program, and guide players towards better tactical awareness and understanding through 11 v 11 play.
The Junior Girls and Boys Directors oversee all aspects of the Juniors Program, and work with the Director of Coaching and Staff Coaches to develop and implement program goals. FC Frederick's Junior Girls Director, Hector Uribe, and Junior Boys Director, Josh Gilmore, bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the program. Annual Evaluations take place each May for the coming year, but PLAYERS CAN ALSO JOIN THE CLUB AT ANY TIME DURING THE YEAR.
Players are placed on teams based on the year they were born. For labeling purposes, U15 (for example) means that players in that age group are 15 years old and younger at the beginning of the calendar year/season.
The 2026-27 age groups are:
U13 = 8/1/13 - 7/31/14
U14 = 8/1/12 - 7/31/13
U15 = 8/1/11 - 7/31/12
