The Frederick Fours is our 4v4 co-ed league. he Frederick Fours is the only MSYSA-sanctioned league using US Soccer recommended age appropriate team sizes for the 7/8U player. We use the 'Dual Field' format of organizing teams for their game day experience.
Teams of 10-12 players are created and then divided in half to play their opponent who does the same. The 'half teams' play on side-by-side fields (approx. 25 v 35 yards). At halftime, one team switches their 'half teams' so all the players play the 'full' team of their opponent. Games are 4 - 10 minute quarters. No scores or standings are published for this league.
